Content on this site is for general information about our Edinburgh atelier. We aim to keep details accurate but prices, turnaround, and availability may change. Nothing on the site forms a binding offer until we accept a garment at the counter or confirm work in writing.
Services
When you leave garments with us, we note the items, the agreed changes, and a collection window. You should tell us about fragile trims, previous alterations, or damage. We take reasonable care; some fabrics and constructions cannot support every requested change, and we will say so before starting where that is clear.
Uncollected items may be stored for a reasonable period. After notice, abandoned items may be disposed of in line with UK consumer law and atelier policy.
Payment
Payment is due when collecting garments unless we agree otherwise. Quotes given after inspection apply to the items discussed.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited under UK law. Subject to that, our liability for loss or damage to garments is limited to a fair value proportionate to the service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in our privacy policy and cookie notice, under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Courts in Scotland have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
